Dr. Boss is the owner and founder of SoCo Endo.

He is a board-certified endodontist, an achievement that less than 25% of endodontists complete and maintain. He graduated magna cum laude from Creighton Dental School and fell in love with endodontics while earning his doctor of dental surgery diploma. He was immediately accepted to a rigorous two-year advanced endodontic residency program at Lutheran Medical Center. Simply put, he says, “I love saving teeth. I love giving my patients the option of retaining that which nature created. Nothing is as good as a natural tooth, and when it can be saved, it is extremely rewarding to give my patients a longer relationship with their natural teeth. I love being the root canal guy.” He also enjoys the hero factor associated with alleviating pain. For those with dental anxiety or treatment barriers, he finds it highly valuable to offer IV sedation, allowing patients the option of not being awake during their treatment.

He serves diligently on the board of the Colorado Springs Dental Society with a priority of providing value to member dentists. He invests in a never-ending amount of high-level continuing education. He has completed a mastership level training in biomimetic dentistry under the tutelage of Dr. David Alleman. This is something that complements his minimally invasive philosophies and allows him to better save teeth long-term. He is a member of the prestigious International Academy of Endodontics. He claims that any success that he has stems primarily from choosing the correct mentors, hard work, discipline, taking pride in one’s work, and treating people right. Surrounding himself with the correct people is essential and his team at SoCo Endo deserves as much credit as him for being recognized as “Top Dentist.”

13 years ago he very obviously married-up. He and his wife Tiffannee have 4 beautiful children under age 6. His favorite thing is, by far, spending time with his family. He also enjoys anything that involves chasing a ball. He has a love-hate relationship with golf. He was a ski-instructor and ski-patroller in his younger years. He played first-base for Weber State University during his undergraduate studies. Working and tinkering with his hands brings him joy and he thoroughly enjoys bugging his wife Tiffannee with never ending home-improvement projects that frequently create large messes and give him an excuse to buy more tools.
