A husband and wife team, Dr. Cody Boals and Dr. Alexa Johnson have always felt a calling to healthcare. Combining their love for science, art, and appealing to their personable nature. Their ongoing goal is to develop a meaningful relationship with each of patient and help them to achieve and maintain their healthy smiles. Kissing Camels Family Dentistry is the practice that embraces the professional side as well as the personal aspect of a trip to the dentist.
Dr. Boals and Dr. Johnson met in dental school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. They then moved to Colorado Springs to begin their dental careers. Together, they opened Kissing Camels Family Dentistry in December of 2018.
In their free time they love to fly fish, hike, and spend time with family and friends. They have two dogs, Mila and Rey, who they love to go on adventures with. They also have two cats, Oaklee and Ezra, who run the house
Their business philosophies are simple, a desire to give back to their community and create a dental practice where people can feel at home and be treated as “family” with the highest level of care. The experiences that their patients enjoy are very unique. Warm blankets, pillows, scented towels, a beverage station, friendly staff, and a fun kid’s area are just a few of the comforts provided to relieve anxiety and create a warm and caring atmosphere. Their business is state of the art, providing patients with a wide range of procedures with a focus on esthetics and keeping as much in-house as possible.
Community involvement is extremely important to Kissing Camels Family Dentistry. The office partners with local nonprofit organizations and every quarter, a different charity is chosen to support. Kissing Camels Family Dentistry will donate $5 for every new patient exam. They also have a “Stay Local” program supporting local businesses in the area.
