Kris Miller stands ready to hold insurance companies responsible for the contracts they underwrite.

Kris believes, unwaveringly, that the massive insurance companies, that take thousands of dollars out of every Colorado motorist’s pocket every year, need to do their job for the people they insure when the time comes. Too often these companies do not deliver the peace of mind they promise in exchange for our monthly premiums.

Originally from Colorado Springs, and a member of the first graduating class at Pine Creek High School, in the year 2000 Kris devotes his practice to representing Colorado plaintiffs in personal injury actions.

Before joining Maher & Maher, Kris served as a deputy district attorney for Colorado’s 4th and 21st judicial districts. As a public servant, he gained experience as a trial attorney, liaison and supervisor in Mesa, El Paso and Teller counties. He executed jury trials and worked with public defenders and judges on developing new court procedures and policies.

Kris graduated from the University of Lynchburg in 2004 and the McGeorge School of Law in the Winter of 2008. Kris has been licensed to practice since the spring of 2009 and has many years of experience in various areas of law. He is admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in Colorado. He handles matters involving negligence, bad faith insurance claims, and wrongful death. He is a devoted husband, devoted father to three, and an avid supporter of soccer and combat sports.  Committed to acts of philanthropy, Kris sits as the Chairman for Colorado Springs Region Soccer (BVBIA Colorado), a youth soccer club, and is a Board Member for Nest Collective, an entity that transforms the living environment for children in need.
