Dr. Vinh Chung has been named one of the Top Doctors every year since 2011. He founded Vanguard Skin Specialists in 2009 as a solo physician, committing to taking care of patients like family. Vanguard has grown as others have joined to pursue Vanguard’s mission to make a positive impact on patients, the community, and the world.
Dr. Chung and his colleagues at Vanguard Skin Specialists believe medicine is a calling, and this drives everything they do. Dr. Vinh Chung specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. He graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Medical School, and then he completed his dermatology residency and Mohs fellowship at Emory. Dr. Chung was also a Rotary Scholar at the University of Edinburgh, where he earned a master of theology and a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Sydney where he earned a master of pharmaceutical sciences. His best-selling memoir, Where the Wind Leads, is available on Amazon and everywhere books and ebooks are sold.
Vanguard Skin Specialists practices medicine as a team sport and exemplifies power in community. Vanguard has nine locations including Colorado Springs (Briargate, Broadmoor, Northgate), Cañon City, Castle Rock, La Junta, Parker, Pueblo, and Woodland Park.
